This collage celebrates the legacy of the art and ideologies of the Bauhaus. It was commissioned by Knoll for the commemorative book 'Knoll : Celebrates 75 years of Bauhaus Design 1919-1994’.
Paul Haigh's interior collage embraced Knoll's main legacy i.e the influence of the Bauhaus, The collage, composed of cut up catalog pages, appropriated the pop art commercial eclecticism embodied in Richard Hamilton's seminal collage from 1956 "Just what is it that makes today's homes so different, so appealing?" hence the new title "Just what will make tomorrow's homes so different, so appealing...?"
The original collage is 16 ½" x 16 ½"
